Friendly lively atmosphere with excellent service. Staff reserved us a table in the window as requested. It was a beautiful sunny evening and when we asked about taking drinks outside to the lovely west-facing side of the pier, the waitress suggested we put in our order, take drinks outside, and she would call us when the food was on the table. Perfect! Our fish and chips were perfect too

On arrival were shown to to a beautiful lounge area where we were to take our afternoon tea 2 of our group ordered the extra nyetimber wine flight. There was a large choice of loose leaf teas, coffee and hot chocolates to choose from My only comment against the experience was that service was a little slow. We received our 2nd & 3rd glasses of wine very close together. And our tea reorders were slow to be asked for / given I feel that although wonderful food was presented the savoury selection was a little small compared to other afternoon teas I have been to I would also like to have been given the option to go outside in the sunshine and had a bit of guidance about the castle and its grounds However it was a special treat and would come again

We wish to thank Elle our waitress for the wonderful Customer Service received, we visited the Ivy Chichester on Thursday l2th September at 12.30pm for lunch. A beautiful restaurant, elegant & fabulous. We were a party of 6 celebrating my daughters Graduation at Chichester Cathedral. The food was excellent and the ambience. Elle was very professional, friendly, polite and attentive and gave my daughter complimentary profiteroles to take home as she was full following the 2 course 1917 lunch. Lovely experience, cocktails and food were great, so yummy we didnt care how much it costed which was quite reasonable. Service was also great and we were even given desert for free as the guests sitting next to us kept complaining about how food is brought out at separate times and not all at once. We actually enjoyed the fact that food was brought out when it was ready.

Lovely restuarant in what looks like a medieval hall. Asparagus starter followed with venison Wellington. Cheese to finish. Nice bottle of Fleurie. Drinks outside to start. Highly recommended.
