    What a lovely tea we had at the Empress hotel. Our server had been working there for 57 years she was adorable. Everything was perfect. The empresses tea is lovely the food and dessert are quite a lot. I loved the older Victorian ambiance before after all its tea. I’m not a fan of the more modern look.

    Our waitress was lovely, the haddock stack was pretty good, a bit too much breading for my liking. Truffle parm fries were amazing, and my fiance loved the Kona Burger. We are both HUGE fans of the shrimp. Always a wonderful experience. We left quite satisfied. We do wish there were more mocktails or non alcoholic choices.

    Was a great meal, service was prompt and efficient, bill for 4 people was pretty reasonable, my mother also had a gluten free meal (burger and fries) and she said it was the best gluten free bun she ever had!
