"We went on a thursday night, it was a little empty due to a snow storm, but that was fine with us. We sat in the back right under a speaker. The music was good, but just a little loud. We asked the hostess to turn it down a little, which she cheerfully did. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. The food came out quite quickly. First, chips and salsa. Nice delicate chips and a very fresh, flavorful salsa. Our mains were great. I had the chicken fajitas. They came with guacamole, crema, pico de gallo, tortilla and a side of rice and beans. All really tasty and prepared with care. My date had mahi mahi tacos that she loved. Her only complaint was that it was too much food. That works out for me, because I ate the rest. We've been to this place three times in the last two weeks. Its that good. Good value too. The portions are quite generous and the prices are very reasonable for Brooklyn in this day and age. The vibe is bustling, but not too loud for my destroyed ears. I'm in my 50's now and sometimes a loud place can be tough for me. This place was fine. They have a very friendly wait staff that makes it easy to have a good time. I recommend this place without reservation ( but with reservations)."See more

"Our Valentine's Day dinner did not disappoint. This was the second Valentine's Day my husband and I celebrated at Bacchus since we were married there in 2015. Meryl and the rest of the staff are extremely welcoming and ensure your dinner and experience is absolutely perfect. On this night, we were given a special four-course menu with many delicious options. The portions were larger than expected, the presentation was beautiful and the food was fresh. The restaurant is so cozy and romantic we can't think of another place to be on such a special wintery night."See more
