We are a fine dining BYOB Italian restaurant that has served Long Beach Island for the past 25 years. We serve only the freshest local ingredients that are available to us.     Food was delicious good size portions on appetizers and main meals. The kids enjoyed their grilled cheese. The calamari had some bite with the fried jalapenos. The avocado sauce was surprisily good. The carrot cake was a huge slice. Tuna cooked perfectly medium rare. Was a bit noisy but to be expected be sure to make a reservation.

    Have always loved our meals at Salt, especially the filet and all the meat dishes which are always salted and cooked to perfection! We also love the parmesan fries and brussels sprouts, and they also have a dedicated gluten free fryer now which is a huge bonus for anyone who is gluten sensitive or celiac.

    We went for the early dinner. What a great deal. The Caesar was superb, and the lobster and crab were delicious, not to mention the coffee and Tortufo. a perfect dinner for two under $100

    The Salt Shack is excellent in so many ways It’s a great dock and dine spot. The slips are well maintained and easy to dock at. The property is beautifully maintained. I really appreciate that you can make reservations in the restaurant which has a strong menu. Overall the food was very good and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. What a wonderful experience. Thank you

    Food and setting were wonderful! Tuna wonton app to start. Then chicken Milanese and lobster roll for dinner. The chicken was tender and well presented. This dish can be dry if over cooked but was perfect. Lobster roll was VERY very lightly dressed, filled with large chunks of lobster. Was terrific. Service was well paced. It’s BYO which is nice. Prices were consistent with those you would find at a very good restaurant on LBI. We’ll be back!
