My wife and I have come here several times to celebrate my birthday and it’s always a lovely experience. The food, service and atmosphere are great. Will always be one of our favorites places to go when we visit Milwaukee!

Approximately 9/16/24, I submitted a 1 star ⭐️ rating for Movida, which had been one of our favorite restaurants in Milwaukee for quality of overall experience - beautiful ambiance, friendly and efficient service and delicious food taste and presentation. I will not repeat the reason for the 1 star ⭐️ rating of our 9/15/24 dining experience, but it was quickly addressed by a phone call follow-up by Sean (Manager) who listened to my issues of our very disappointing experience and apologized and said they all would be addressed and resolved. He was very attentive and wanted to correct to ensure we would continue to be patrons of Movida. Upon our first return visit (with our out-of-town friends last evening 11/30/24) since our unfortunate 9/15/24 experience, Movida did not disappoint. I rated Movida a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. The ambiance of course had not changed and the food quality was spot on and delicious and the service provided by Emily was “best in class” -she was friendly, personable and very attentive. Thank you Movida for coming back to us with your much deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. We look very much forward to our next visit and will now continue to recommend to friends.

The service was some of the best we have ever had! I wish I remembered our waiter’s name and his associate gal—they were fabulous. The appetizers rush creek cheese and tuna tartare were amazing. The Nantucket scallop pasta was delicious but not hot—barely lukewarm. That was our only complaint of the night but the flavors were great! Steak was cooked perfectly; we had a wonderful time. Love visiting the restaurant group—Bacchus a few weeks back was awesome, Lake Park Bistro, MrB’s…..consistency is key and you’re all spot on!

We came in to celebrate a birthday & everything was great. We tried the shrimp & grits & wings this time around! AMAZING! I definitely recommend.

The atmosphere was amazing. There is so much to look at. My 10 year old son was in awe of the Gremlins and the VHS tapes. His favorite was the original Nintendo. The shakes are absolutely amazing!!!!
