I'd been meaning to come here every since it opened and, last night, finally got the chance. It was everything I'd hoped for and more. We had the set menu and asked them to choose the wines for us. We each got a different white and a different red. I started with a Feudo Arancio from Sicily. The grape variety is Inzolia, which I'd never heard of before, but was very impressed. An easy drinking white wine that worked perfectly with the various entree dishes. That was followed by a Nero D'Avola to perfectly match the steak. Highly recommended.

I’m fairly new to Canberra and was looking for an Italian restaurant for a date night and stumbled upon Briscola after a quick online search. Making the booking online was pain free. We were running a little late for our booked time and when I rang, the restaurant, to inform them, the person I spoke to was friendly and respectful. The service and food could not be faulted. The wine was brilliant. I would have no hesitation recommending this restaurant looking for a wonderful Italian restaurant.
