The Cannery is such a beautiful place to dine. Located in the Pillar and Post, it boasts a rich decor, especially in the evening when the fireplaces are going, the lights are lit, and the Christmas decorations abound. While it is a big restaurant, you never feel you are crowded. Service was impeccable and the food outstanding! Always a wonderful and satisfying meal. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it for a special occasion. I do wish that since I had let them know it was my friend's birthday, they would have offered or surprised him with a complimentary dessert. Guess that isn't a thing anymore. Nonetheless, an evening well spent with good friends and good food!
