We have always endeavored to obtain seasonal and local ingredients and we use many locally produced greens, herbs, and vegetables, some of which come from our own culinary garden. We are frequently inspired by ingredients found in the cuisines of France, China, Thailand, Poland and India, so we call our cooking "freestyle." Of special note, The Joel Palmer House ranks as one of Oregon's finest historic homes and is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Oregon Historic Register. Seemless service. Everyone chipping in to make sure the customer experience is top priority. We had the omakase experienced and was extremely happy that we did as we tasted most of the dishes on the menu. Some dishes were a little over salted but we loved it all. Wine and digestive recommendations were amazing. We shall return in the near future.

Beautifully quaint space perfect for the excellent French fare. Oysters, escargot, and coq cu vin were outstanding and the wine list would satisfy anyone’s taste. I especially liked the range of prices on their wine list. Wonderful place, wonderful meal!

If you are craving a sandwich, burger, or salad with a refreshing beverage, this is a place for you. We ordered the prime rib on a Saturday night. It was flavorful and moist. Our CC only critique is that we would have liked a little more variety on the menu. The service was excellent at the pub and cellar
