Great server who was very responsive. The walleye was phenomenal. It came with a cauliflower puree and grilled portabella mushrooms that were both so delicious.

The atmosphere at Ruthies was welcoming. Steve our waiter was an excellent server. The food as always was delicious. This is our favorite restaurant for special occasions but last night we decided to just do a "date night'" and it still felt like a special occasion!

Maxwell’s is located in a very modern upscale hotel located along the Mississippi river. The views of the river are really nice. We were staying at a COE campground about 13 miles from Muscatine. We have a small 25 foot RV and we were able to park it directly across the street from the hotel. We were very pleased with the quality of food and service at Maxwell’s. My wife had a shrimp and pasta dish and I had the Ahi tuna. We will return if our travels take us back through Muscatine. We highly recommend going there if you are traveling through the area.

I’ve been to several Supper Club evenings, and thoroughly enjoy each one. I being different friends each time, and no one is disappointed. Love that we have this available in our town. Owners are great, genuinely kind and ensure every detail is attended to. The food is full of creative combinations, and is locally sourced / tied to the season. The chef is down-to-earth, and the stories about each course are very interesting - why he chose it, how he sources it, other ways to use the ingredients at times. It is simply nice to be with a crowd of other foodies. I plan to attend many more Supper Clubs.

I love that they have given new life to this old school Supper Club and have kept the theme and story alive. It was a fun atmosphere, we had great service and really enjoyed our dinner. The cocktails, salads and entrees were especially great. I would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel as well. I plan to be back and hopefully for the live music dining on a Friday night.
