Restaurants near Bygones Victorian Museum

As ever, lovely food and nothing is too much for the staff. Always made to feel welcome. The roast lamb was succulent and vegetables cooked the way I like them. We have been coming here since the 1990s and its rare these days to see the same family running such an establishment for so long.

The afternoon tea was very good value. Staff attentive but not to much. View wonderful.

An outstanding lunch for our Anniversary. From the moment we arrived the visit became special, the staff attention to detail was a delight and the lunch tasting menu was perfect with the accompanying wine flight. The staff were amazing - never there until they were needed but attentive and efficient around every course,then they disappeared again! Wonderful. A perfect enue that has been a delight on every visit!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday here! Overall ambiance was exellent. The food was amazing! The staff was wonderful! The f&b staff who attended to us was very professional and served us with a smile. The wild mushroom Tagliatelle was the best I’ve ever had. The Salmon was cooked to perfection too! The live band outside was a bonus. Such a lovely experience spending birthdays here. Did not disappoint at any thing we are satisfied just like last year but this year’s menu was far more better than the previous one. Portion was good. We found the mouth watering calamari in paignton that we had last year on the sister’s hotel next door so we are very happy.
