This restaurant did not disappoint from start to finish. The drinks were amazing. Wine list was extensive with equally nice options by the glass as compared to the bottle list. We had amazing She Crab Soup. The grilled (cream) cheese angel food came dessert was out of this world. Our waiter was Renault. He was attentive, witty, kind and helped make our night feel special even on a Monday evening. The views of Pittsburgh are exceptional from Mt. Washington. MBG is a must for any foodie traveling to Pittsburgh!

This was m second time dining at Altius. It was surprisingly crowded and busy for a Monday night! Service is wonderful, you are treated very well. I love their “amuse bouche” - nice touch. I had oysters, there were 5, they were delicious. $15. Secondly had another app, a pork belly & scallop thing… 2 little chunks of pork which were mostly FAT, along with one scallop. It was good, nice presentation, tho a very skimpy plate and it was $23! My friend had a pork chop, it was delicious! It was a tomahawk type chop. Other friend had the crab bisque, also excellent. It’s expensive. The view is the thing!
