Outstanding in every way. Best restaurant in Lexington.

We had a wonderful meal tonight and I certainly enjoyed the grilled shrimp. It is always so good. My wife had the wonderful chicken sandwich. We got to talk to the President and that is always a delight as she is so kind and we enjoy any conversation with her. I also got to see Kyle, who is a wonderful asset to the Restaurant and he provides such good leadership to all those who work there. Aiden was our server and he did such a good job and we sampled the tomato basil soup, but it really is not very good. Looking forward to another soup in the lineup. 

Food and atmosphere were great. Only complaint I have is I ordered a side of cocktail sauce with a little horseradish and and a bowl of horseradish arrived when I was almost done eating (no cocktail sauce) I didn’t realize until after we had paid the check that I was charged $5.00 for my u touched bowl of horseradish. (That to me is a little excessive in pricing for a sauce)

We came for our annual anniversary meal. The medallions were excellent and cooked perfectly. We requested a window on the patio but the windows were open and cooler and we had the road noise but I would choose that table again for a birthday celebration. We do not eat downtown unless we go to Carson’s on Main!!

This was our first experience with this restaurant and it will certainly not be our last. The staff was fantastic! So friendly and welcoming. They love working there and it shows: it was our anniversary and they had a card waiting for us at our table. That was the first restaurant to ever do that and it made our special day even more special. It’s the little things like that they did that enhanced our experience and made us enjoy ourselves even more. The food was so much better than we expected it to be. It is pricey but by the time you’re done with your meal you don’t even care how much it is because it’s worth the price. Chef Rodney can cook! We will be among that our anniversary spot fork now for sure and hope to be back there many more times in between. We just loved it!
