Mushrooms are the heart of what we do at the Joel Palmer House. We have always endeavored to obtain seasonal and local ingredients and we use many locally produced greens, herbs, and vegetables, some of which come from our own culinary garden.     We visited the Vault to celebrate 17 years since our fist date there. It felt very familiar after all this time - great staff and environment and food. We were surprised that early on a Wednesday evening the place was packed and very lively. Everything about the visit was enjoyable, and at a reasonable price for the high quality food and experience.

    A jewel of a restaurant. We each had the halibut - zucchini fritters were a delectable bonus to the exquisite cooked fish. The underlying sauce had just the right amount of heat to make it interesing.. We appreciated te bread on the table with three different dipping sauces....loved the olives! This is one of best, hands down culinary experiences in Corvallis, Oregon.
