There are not enough words to express how fabulous this restaurant is. Phenomenal food, outstanding service, and perfect ambience. Sexy Steak is a HUGE win for the Detroit restaurant scene. NYC meets south Florida with Rat Pack vibes in downtown Detroit …absolute perfection!!!!

We came to Chartreuse for the first time to have a send-off lunch for a dear friend. From the moment we were met at the front door, the experience felt special and spectacular. Jack greeted us at our table and explained the menu and specials in detail. He, like all the other staff members, was genuinely warm and friendly. We were delighted when one of the bartenders stopped by the table to explain the ingredients of the house cola, in answer to our guest’s question. The food was, in a word, splendid. The fresh, colorful ingredients made each dish pop with unexpected flavors and textures. The only real disappointment was we didn’t leave room for dessert! The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, although all the hard surfaces can make it a bit echoing at times. We were charmed by the other staff members who popped over to assist at our table while Jack took a large order from a neighboring table. I posted a glowing review in the Grosse Pointe Park Community Facebook Group! Thanks to everyone at Chartreuse who helped make our “Going Away” luncheon truly memorable!

Service, food and certainly the atmosphere were all outstanding. Thanks for a great dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Babo food is always fresh and delicious and service is always great! The dirty chai latte is a favorite, it’s my go to restaurant during the day.

I always enjoy going to the Monarch because of the beautiful scenery of the city and the people. We had a few people from out of town so this was one of our choice spots to go to. I did enjoy myself but our server did not seem as if she was happy at all (maybe a bad day) and the order of steak sliders were very fatty. not very happy about that but management did take the item off the bill so all was well. The only mishap of the evening all in all is a great place to hang out and take in the city,
