Absolutely phenomenal food, and very kind, helpful and attentive staff! I had the mushroom soup and the grilled arctic char, my husband had the nori cured salmon and the duo of muscovy duck, and we split the chicken fried oyster mushrooms. Everything was so good it's really impossible to pick a favourite! It was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back, we both have other things we really want to try!

Megan was a superstar! We love Joeys and frequently eat out here. The restaurant was packed that night and so understandably the food was a little slow to arrive and the fries were weirdly mushy. But other than this, we had a great night and the rest of the food was tasty as always!

Everything was amazing had a really good time, servers were kind, food came fast, tasted good. The only thing I didn’t like a lot was how close the tables were to each other. It would have been perfect if we had a bit more privacy. We had people sitting on both sides of us less than 2 feet away. It was even a bit challenging to get to/ leave my seat since it’s very close to the other tables. It was hard to pass by without bothering the other people. Other than this we had a great time, it’s a nice spot for special occasions.

What a fantastic improvement! My previous visit left me unsure, but I’m so glad I gave Hy’s another chance. They’ve always had a welcoming atmosphere. It was nice to see some familiar faces again! The cocktails were perfectly poured, the table side Caesar was great! Most importantly, the steak was incredible! Very flavourful, well-presented, and served at just the right temperature. It’s clear the team has put in the effort to elevate the experience, and it truly shows. Looking forward to coming back again soon!
