- RRickSt. Louis •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe could not have had a better experience than we had at Fire last evening celebrating my mother's birthday. From the kinds greeting, to the table, to the absolutely amazing service from John who is an absolute gem of a server and as a person. It is very clear Fire hires the best of the best in the industry. The Carpaccio appetizer was a perfect balance of tenderloin, arugula, pecorino, tomato and horseradish aioli. Perfect was to start the evening, along with the bread service which is a blend of a variety bread tastes and styles. The lobster and shrimp pasta (bucatini) in a sweet tomato sauce was amazing as was the Prime Rib with whipped potatoes and perfect asparagus with horseradish sauce and jus was exquisitely melt in your mouth. Our last entree was the Bone In Pork Ribeye with a Door County Cherry glaze that was out of this world delicious. along with the tastiest roasted sweet potatoes you have ever out in your mouth. As of all of this wasn't enough we opted for dessert(s) yes not one, but two and they were was dreams of dessert are made of, Bourbon Pumpkin creme brulee' and the absolute best bread pudding any of us had ever had. Soft and firm bread pudding with a caramel bourbon sauce, vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle. Undeniably delicious. Fire is everything an upscale steakhouse should be and more. We were all so impressed with the professional yet personable staff with another shout out to John who is just the best! If you haven't been to Fire I cannot recommend it more.More infoFire Seafood & Steakhouse$$$$• Steakhouse• Appleton•4.6

- JJamesWisconsin •1 review5.0Dined on 11 Sept 2026We had our first date and decided to have dinner at Anchor & Port. We are DEFINITELY glad we did! We'd made a reservation and upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and gave us an overview of the restaurant. We asked if we could sit outside by the river and they immediately set up a table for us. Amanda and the other staff made sure we had everything we needed, checking on us several times during our dinner. We also had a few nice chats with Amanda, she clearly cares about her guests! The food was fantastic (the cheese curd dip is amazing!) and the prices are more than fair. We will most certainly be back for more!More infoAnchor & Port$$$$• American• Oshkosh•4.2
