Siam Thailand Restaurant is a Japanese and Thai fusion eatery. The interior of the restaurant also plays with this fusion, as guests will see authentic decorations from both nations all over the walls, booths and even ceiling. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with regional music being played in the background. Most of the Japanese side of the menu can be seen in the appetizer section. Here, diners will find a wide array of sushi, sashimi and nigiri options. These include cuts of salmon, tuna, sea urchin, shrimp and more. In addition to the appetizers, Siam Thailand also features some lunch and dinner rolls as well. The Thai side of the menu is represented through some classic dishes that most diners will recognize. Signature meals include the pad Thai, chicken satay and a crispy fish curry with pineapple.

The food was good but pricey. We drank a very good wine suggested by the sommelier, but the suggestion didn't fit with the meal. There was plenty of very good wine on the card, we would have been better served in choosing ourselves. Besides, the seafood pizza was good, but not excellent and with very little seafood on the topping. The salad was good but very simple and expensive for what we got. This is not the best Italian restaurant I went to, but not necessarily a very bad choice if you don't care about what you will pay.

Marvellous dinner experience! I booked on Open Table after seeing some positive reviews. I was impressed the next morning, when chef (and co-operator of the hotel) Karen called me to go over menu options and my preferences. When I showed up at the appointed time, I learned from the server/host Anthony that I would be the only dinner guest. Which meant that I had exceptional, warm, thoughtful service. Began in the lounge with a glass of wine (well-selected wine list); moved on to the charming dining room to eat. Meal began with a cold gazpacho-type soup, slightly piquant with some shrimp. Went on at a comfortable pace to the main course: locally-farmed Arctic char, stuffed with smoked salmon; sautéed scallops; roasted potatoes and veg. Dessert of sponge cake with peaches and local blueberries, with a dollop of ice cream. Best meal in Caraquet! Highly recommended.
