- SScottvipToronto / Ontario •33 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThank you for another incredible dining experience at Mamakas! The food was to perfection as always and so delicious, especially the spanakopita and lamb neck! The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the drinks were "spot on". Hani's service was friendly, perfect and made the night so enjoyable for my guest, who was a first timer and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!More infoMamakas TavernaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Queen West•4.7

- DDennisToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoFeature lobster ravioli with XO sauce and a pan seared scallops on-top was wondering. One of the most flavourful dishes I had. The signature salad was very good as well. Every bite had a different element and taste and the presentation was wonderful. The satay beef with tamarind sauce, oysters, lobster dumplings, was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The one dish I thought was mediocre and a little bit misleading was the Peking duck. The duck was more like a western style smoked and salted duck with the wrap and condiments for Peking styled duck. It was alright. Probably on the lower end of the flavour and texture dishes we had tonight. The deserts were okay nothing crazy. The tong yuan was a normal tong yuan similar to the ones you get in a sweet hot soup in Taiwan. The chocolate kinda ruined it tho. The halo halo was good but was just normal shaved ice nothing wild or out of the ordinary. The service was perfect. We ordered a lot of sharing dishes so we had pretty much a 7 course meal to share each plate coming out one at a time. Every course our cutlery and plates were replaced and the tables were wiped. Water was always filled. Server was very nice and knowledgeable. She was attentive to my fish allergy. Couldn't ask for more Overall this experience was an adventurous one. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in eastern cuisine with lots of Thai influence(most of the dishes we ordered had Thai flavours like lemon grass, tamarind, Thai curry style sauces) with a twist of western style. :)More infoLeePrice: Very Expensive• Global, International• King West•4.8
