"The right place for lunch before going into the Guggenheim Museum is Wright’s. Named for the famous architect, the food and service was museum quality. The parsnip soup was hot and creamy and garnished with diced apple and pomegranate seeds. Yum. For lunch I had the 50/50 burger, half meat and half mushrooms—so much umami. Served with fingerlings, the “museum” version of the French fry. My husband had the butternut squash raviolis. They came with large arcs of roasted squash and shavings of cheese. So good.
Sadly, they didn’t have my drink of choice, Dewars, at the bar, so I ordered a glass of wine. Despite the busy lunch rush, our server Deena scoured the upstairs stockroom and procured a bottle to pour me a sorry-for-the-disappointment shot. Not necessary, but so memorable and hospitable. This was definitely the “Wright” way to start our mini vaca in NYC."See More
"Great place for our group of picky eaters. We had a vegan, a kid who would only eat pizza, and 3 others. Loved my eggs benedict nova, and everyone else enjoyed their meals too. Waitstaff managed to graciously seat our party of 5."See More
"I have been to Morini many times and it is always terrific. The service, food and atmosphere are always a step above other similar priced restaurants. They always accommodate special requests and substitutions to meet dietary restrictions. I plan on returning many timers in the future."See More
"Love the food.....even when it was a hole in the wall on east 85 st the food was terrific.
The noise level was really good because we came late for lunch.....usually it’s kind of noisy for me. My favorite appetizer is the fried baby artichokes and it would be if they would give us 4 instead of 3...." it’s very pricey and usually a split for me"See More

"Bocato has a varied menu that works if your party all want to eat something different. Their creative appetizers are good for diners who want “small plates,” and the bar’s “by the glass” wines are very good."See More
