Restaurants near Hubbard Street Dance Chicago

We had a great dinner at Girl and the Goat! We had the chickpea fritters and the pomegranate was a great touch of flavor. We also loved the sea bass, and will come back for it! Other favorites included the peanut butter mousse and chocolate dessert. Shout out to nick (I think) in the kitchen who gifted us mini beans (green beans) and the miso maple budino (if you like pralines you’ll love this), both were phenomenal.

Took clients for dinner prior to Bulls game and as always it was great. Greeted immediately and taken to our table which was a little small for the group, so I asked to be seated in booth and was accommodated. Drinks were good, the Bruschetta was fantastic and you can never miss with meatball salad. Risotto with fennel sausage and tomato sauce was really good. My guests had the filet medallions, cheese ravioli with fennel sausage, and met ravioli. They all gave high marks. This place gets my highest recommendation.

Really good wings and cheeseburgers but $40 for a shot of Blantons is ridiculous. C’mon man.

I wish I had gotten the name of our waitress. She made our experience wonderful and we come every year to the Walnut Room since my children were little and they are now 20 and 17. Our waitress took one of the best pictures of our family at the tree, came to our table often refilling our drinks and asking if we needed anything more. She was just so happy and joyful it really added to our experience at the table. She even brought us Walnut Room glasses at the end. We always have a good time at the Walnut Room but our experience this time was exceptional! I thanked her at the end as well, but please treat this waitress well and keep her because she is a shining star for sure!!
