Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season.     This was the first time we’ve been to Hennen’s…it won’t be the last. We’ve lived here in Chatt 3 years and have eaten at most of the restaurants, but Hennen’s was by far one of the best places we’ve eaten at in Hamilton county! The food (steaks) was cooked to perfection and exactly as we had requested. The service was outstanding and the young man was very personable and polite, checked on us several times and was right on time with my wife’s drink requests everytime! We would rate this upscale restaurant a 10 certainly and say it certainly was one of the best steak and seafood places that we’ve been to Chattanooga to Nashville!
