Great spot for a happy hour gathering with the combo of a bar/dining section with high tops and a dining section with regular tables a bit away from the bar. We will come back. Was perfect fit for our party of 10.More infoIndustry AlesPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6

I've visited this restaurant in the past, and each time, my experience has been consistently exceptional. Everything about it, from the delicious meals to the warm and inviting ambience, is truly outstanding. She made our experience wonderful and we come every year to the Walnut Room since my children were little and they are now 20 and 17. Our waitress took one of the best pictures of our family at the tree, came to our table often refilling our drinks and asking if we needed anything more. She was just so happy and joyful it really added to our experience at the table. She even brought us Walnut Room glasses at the end. We always have a good time at the Walnut Room but our experience this time was exceptional! I thanked her at the end as well, but please treat this waitress well and keep her because she is a shining star for sure!!More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
- MMaureenVIPChicago / Illinois •61 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe asked for a quiet table, and received one in the back room with a window to the kitchen--perfect. Excellent waiter, with great recommendations and service. We ordered too much, so couldn't come close to finishing it all. Breaded pickles with siracha aioli were outstanding, wedge salad very good (tho dressing was sparse), Gage burger was good, chicken biriyani was very flavorful but too much. Next time we'll split just one entree.More infoThe GagePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.7
