Perched on the hills of Frascati since 1933, Ristorante Belvedere takes its name from the breathtaking panoramic view over Rome and the Roman countryside that can be admired from its iconic terrace. Brothers Alain and Nelson Rosica — sons of an Abruzzese father and a Venezuelan mother — lead a kitchen that weaves the deep traditions of the Roman Campagna with the bold, aromatic influences of South America. Their signature dish tells this story perfectly: saragolla wheat cappellacci filled with Abruzzese white lamb, sautéed misticanza, and aged local pecorino fonduta — ancient grains, mountain heritage, and pastoral Lazio flavors in a single plate. The wine cellar, awarded at Vinalia Priora 2026 for the best Frascati wine list, champions local Castelli Romani producers alongside great Italian and French labels. Recognized as a Historic Business of Lazio, the Belvedere sits steps from Villa Aldobrandini and the historic center of Frascati, just 25 minutes from Rome.
