Gracious, personal service and fun, hip atmosphere!

Interesting restaurant and interesting menu. Second time back after enjoying our initial experience to try different things. Full bar with interesting drink specials, and a good wine list (glass or bottle). Appetizer we ordered was shaved melon (looking like ribbons) and prosciutto which was a great presentation and delicious. Gnocchi is the best dish we've had so far. Pizza's passing by our table looked fantastic. Cappuccino one of the best around. Indoor seating intimate and a bit noisy. This place should be on your list. JF

Noise level is a bit loud dining in middle of dining room. We chose a bar top seat which had better lighting and slightly quieter. Plus. We got more time to chat with the bartenders which made our experience more enjoyable.

Everyone but the waitress were very nice and efficient. The place was almost empty and from the minute we sat down the waitress rushed us, did not ask if I wanted to order a drink..just brought us waters and kept asking if we were ready to order lunch. I had to tell her that first I wanted to order a glass of wine. She did not take our dishes once we finished, even though I order a second dish and there was no room on the table with the empty dishes. Since it was my birthday she brought a small cupcake while I was still eating my dish and wanted to light the candle. I wasn't even ready since I was still chewing. Just felt extremely rushed.

Montecatini has never disappointed. My husband always orders the seafood pasta, and I usually order the lemon scallops which are incredibly amazing but this time I tried this shrimp Caesar, which was delicious. Perfect for date night, would highly recommend.
