The food and drinks were very good ,service was on point , i would recommend.

My girlfriend, who loves tea, had made reservations for us to attend this afternoon tea, and I, who generally does not like tea, was genuinely surprised with how pleasant I found the experience. Even as a young couple vacationing on a budget, probably not the typical people to attend an afternoon tea, we felt very welcomed by staff and other patrons alike. Throughout the service, staff was warm and all took part in caring for us, rather than having one particular server for our table. They were knowledgeable about the estate’s history, as well as the food and tea, helping me to find two that I actually enjoyed. The ambiance of the room helped me feel relaxed, and we never felt rushed through our tea. Afterwards, we were even allowed to explore the grounds at our own pace. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone, even those who are skeptical.

It is an excellent restaurant, as is its sister restaurant, The Barracks which is opposite. The food is good and the staff are, without fail, helpful, fun, on the ball and charming. Our favourite place to eat.
