Mike is a Sandpoint native and most recently served as Executive Chef at 41 South. Under his leadership, 41 South was consistently voted as one of the best restaurants in Sandpoint. Mike learned his craft at the Seattle Culinary Academy earning an Associates of Culinary Arts degree in 2008. His culinary expertise was further developed at several concepts managed and owned by the Tom Douglas Restaurant Group in Seattle, notably Etta’s and SeaTown, after beginning his career with Schweitzer Mountain Resort.

    Without question the best dinning experience we have ever had! We celebrated our 48 year together and we have had many great evenings out but this will be hard to beat!!! All of the 13 courses ( I think that’s right, lost count!) was expertly crafted and presentation was expertly done. The wine pairing was fantastic too!! Of course our host kept us entertained all night which was why this was a very special night for us!! Thank you all from the kitchen experts to the two young ladies making sure we had everything right!
