At the Twin Oaks we're a neighborhood restaurant, bar & terrace that focuses on using the very best of local Irish produce. We change our A La Carte menu seasonally and change our specials weekly in line with the freshest seafood coming off the boats nearby and the freshest veg that's coming into season in Dublin. Nestled in the heart of Ashtown Village, Dublin 15, overlooking the Royal Canal, The Lock Keeper can be found at Lock #10. Steeped in heritage, this double lock was constructed c.1792. With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year.
