Restaurants near Macelmons Pond Provincial Park

Dined with friends August 12th, 2026. We enjoyed the seafood linguine, chicken and chorizo penne and the steak special. Also had the creme brulee and a espresso martini. Everything was delicious!

Our favourite place to go for our celebrations. Food is always perfection!

We went to Milestones in Dartmouth for our anniversary dinner, and honestly, it did not disappoint! From the food to the overall experience, everything was absolutely amazing. The starters were the highlight for us. The Wagyu Beef Gyoza, Chicken Bites, and especially the Black Pepper Garlic Parmesan Wings were incredible. Every single dish was packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and left us wanting more. The wings in particular were SO good juicy! It was the perfect spot for dinner and we left completely satisfied and already talking about what we’ll order next time. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and a wonderful experience all around. We’ll definitely be back!

Our first time at Olive & Vine, and we really enjoyed our evening. I honestly didn’t realize we had such a lovely restaurant right here in Truro. The atmosphere was one of our favourite things. It was beautifully decorated with low, cozy lighting and little oil candles on the tables. There was music playing, but it wasn’t loud, so you could actually have a conversation and enjoy your dinner. I had also made a seating request, and they accommodated it perfectly, giving us a lovely quiet spot. We both had the Chicken Parmesan, and the chicken was amazing. I had mentioned that I was torn between the Chicken Parmesan and the pan-fried blackened haddock, and our server assured me that the Chicken Parmesan was a really good choice and she was right. The service was also wonderful. We interacted with several staff members, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our main server was especially lovely. She was attentive without checking in too much or too little, and just made the whole experience feel very relaxed and enjoyable. We also received such a thoughtful surprise at the end of our meal. We were far too full for dessert (lol!), so we ordered one to take home and share, and they gave it to us as a complimentary anniversary treat. Such a nice and unexpected touch! ❤️ Olive & Vine is definitely a little gem in Truro. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner and will absolutely be back.

I eat at this location all of the time and this time my boyfriend and I dined in, we had the kindest waitress who was super patient, let us take our time and made us feel really comfortable! I don’t remember her name but I hadn’t recognized her there before, I assumed maybe she was new but overall she did an excellent job and we will definitely be returning! :)
