Restaurants near Maldron Hotel Parnell Square

We went to karens and they were very helpful before hand sorting for my partners birthday. When we got there we were the only people expecting it to be a little busier, they guy was funny but I didn't feel it was what we expected from videos etc... the food was average. But we've been and they didn't fail just getting it wasn't as lively and busy as we would have expected which would have made it slightly better.

Restaurant Six exceeded our expectations in every way. My wife and i had a stop over in Dublin and had booked into a hotel near the town centre. When we were looking for a restaurant to have dinner at we did not want to go to that usual “traditional Irish” pub type place and we found a reference to Six. We were glad we had done so. The ambiance was very pleasant, low key and more peaceful, the food was good and then service was outstanding. The maitre’d, Vish, is the consummate professional. We were made to feel special while at the same time at home. On our own reference scale of “would we eat here again” most certainly yes and we would rate the restaurant highly for any visitors to Dublin.

Great gem in Dublin. The food was delicious and the bramble cocktail was on point! Think it’s slightly out of the way of places. We were going to vicar street and it’s about half an hour walk to get there. Doable and worth it for the delicious food! But something to be mindful of. Loved the decor of the place too.
