Restaurants near Marist College

We love dining at the CIA (and we have a 2 hour drive). My second time at American Bounty. The food is always delicious. It's always interesting to find out what our server is planning to do once they leave the CIA. Having all students wait on tables is such an important part of anyone's culinary education. Cudos! I would be so pleased if that level of service was the norm at every restaurant. All of the CIA's restaurants are great! Walk around and enjoy the experience. Visit the book store. It's a special treat that we enjoy.

What a wonderful experience from the presentation of the food, the excellent service, and the delicious meal!!

We had a wonderful dinner at Caterina de Medici! The pizza was great - very thin crust and great sauce. My wife's salad was excellent also. The zuppa di pesce was a delight; the fish were all very fresh and tasty and the soup was the perfect compliment. The scallops were outstanding also - just like eating on Cape Cod. Dessert was the tiramisu which was a nice light ending to the meal. The bread and wine were great also; we'll be back for another special dinner soon!

Beautiful new hotel! The Storyteller is located right in the open lobby of the hotel. Drinks were fantastic (lots of locally-sourced Hudson Valley inspired cocktails). Food was also amazing. Came to here to catch up with some girlfriends, we shared a bunch of appetizer dishes (the short rib flatbread was amazing!). Only semi-complaint was that service was a little slow, but to be fair, it was only the one bartender taking care of our large table and the bar (and he was excellent!). Even though I live close by, I want to come stay here just for an excuse to enjoy the Storyteller again.

Kaylie was such a great tour group lead. Kudos to her and the others who lead the tour--all added such great value to the videos section. Learned so much on the tour--tasting sample to learn about flavors was fun. Enjoyed the history and what's behind CIA. A definite must do if visiting CIA. Visited the Egg (student food area) where we got a few tasty treats.
