Absolutely worth the experience from the moment we drove up through dinner and even leaving! Out table was not immediately next to the huge picture windows but 1 in so we still enjoyed a fabulous view. We were not there for high tide but being right on the beach was great enough! We also didn’t get a sunset as the clouds/fog rolled in early in the afternoon (3/4ish, dinner reservation for 5:45). I’d made mention in reservation notes we were there for belated 18th birthday and Family Weekend with our Freshman at SDSU and were greeted with personalized printed menus welcoming us for both events!!! The food and service was outstanding. We never felt rushed as it got busier into the dinner hour. Absolutely would go again!

We had Pappardelle al Brazato di Manzo and the Lasagna alla Bolognese - both delicious! Also had the Insalata Caprese and Insalata Cesarina. Everything fresh, homemade and yummy. All dishes are giant enough to share. We sat outside on the patio. The ambiance outside is comfy and garden-like. We loved Cesarina and our waiter Thomas was excellent. We can’t wait to go again and try some more delicious creations!

Celebrated my Mothers birthday. We frequent Dukes in Waikiki and decided to check out the San Diego location. The view is amazing and has great prices for the quality of food. We loved the seared ahi and the fish of the day. The hula pie is a must!
