Had a wonderful evening with my wife. Great service and our food was served promptly. From the appetizer, to our entrees and ending with dessert we had a great evening together. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Mahalo to the staff at Black Angus Pearl City. We’ve been coming there for years and continue to do so.

As always, the meal at Merriman’s was excellent. We enjoyed a spicy shrimp appetizer served in a hot skillet along with great house bread for sopping up the delicious garlic sauce. Next course, Merriman’s Caesar salad featuring a fried green tomato! The main course was the catch of the day: grilled ono with Parmesan gnocchi and sautéed bok choy over a delicious macadamia nut romesco sauce— it was outstanding. We were celebrating my birthday and I was gifted with a scoop of their house made vanilla ice cream. The only disappointment was that we forgot to order a bag of their biscuits to take home for breakfast!

Delicious rib eye steak, we shared it along with the French onion soup & fried rice. Our server, Taylor, what a great young man! We were very impressed with his professionalism, so much that we asked to speak to the manager to tell her what a fantastic job he did.
