- RRobertPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAlways good with great service. We come here every year for our anniversary. It is a bit pricy but we expect that being in the restaurant with a seasoned waiter. We usually come for lunch or happy hour and experience the same great food and a better price but not the same service as being in the restaurant.More infoJake's Famous CrawfishPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown•4.7
- LLareineLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoService was impeccable, it just goes to show how a dining experience can go from zero to 100 just like that due to service. Maria was our server for the night and she was next level. It’s our first time traveling to Portland and it just made the trip that much more worth it. The food was a 4/5 flavors were on point very well balanced. Ambience was great, beautifully designed. And the drinks were delicious. I normally don’t sip on cocktails but the Litchi martini was perfectly balanced. Lovely first dining experience on our first night out.More infoJankenPrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Pearl District•4.8

- BBobvipVancouver / British Columbia •20 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was our second time to dine at MEC; both times were excellent. The food is meant for sharing, so plates appear at the table when cooked, meaning that they aren't served together or in the order you expected. Our carrots (wonderful) were served well after other dishes had been consumed. This may be a turn-off for some. However, each plate was terrific, so the sequencing didn't matter to us. Also, the noise level is very high; probably not suitable for anyone with hearing difficulties or wanting an intimate conversation. On the other hand, it is obviously a "happening" place, so is fun if you don't mind a loud ambiance. My wife and I enjoy the diversity of plates at MEC, as well as the activity. Others may prefer more traditional servings and conversational environment.More infoMediterranean Exploration CompanyPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• NW Portland•4.8
