Our second consecutive year celebrating our anniversary here and our second consecutive absolutely wonderful experience. While the food is amazing, I must say we keep coming back because of the service and how wonderful the experience has been both times with our specific waiter. We also really love the atmosphere and look forward to returning soon to check out the menu updates that are due in a few weeks.

Only one small negative. The strawberry skillet dessert option was lackluster. It wasn’t bad, but just not at the level of excellence where the bar at Jeff Ruby’s is set. It felt very premade and warmed over rather than fresh. Otherwise, another stellar dinging performance. The steaks, sides, and appetizers were fantastic. Wait staff Josh & Graham were extremely knowledgeable and attentive to any needs. Floor manager was visible all evening, attentive to guests and his staff without being intrusive. In a world of watered down expectations, Jeff Ruby’s continues to set the standard for uncompromising quality of both food and service.

A most enjoyable dining experience. And the tour of the art in the lobby & the lower level added to the pleasant evening . Thanks❗️

Had a great makers mark manhattan. crab cake, filet and sides. delicious. cooked as we wished. Slade our waiter helpful. Charmed by Bavan filling our water and making polite lovely conversation. We were waiting for a colleague whose flight was late. We asked Bavan to fill her water glass in case she came. He came at the end if the dinner and made a cute inquiry about missing her company. This lovely young many is a genuine spirit and asset. I’d capitalize on his spirit and upgrade his role. Thanks for having us Swizzle.

I had heard a lot of good things about this place and turns out they were all true. The decor immediately made me feel like I was in Cuba, not Louisville. Our waiter was so adorable and helpful with suggestions for appetizers and drinks, we had the Testones and Cuban Nachos with the Sangria. The appetizer portions were huge and delicious, so we didn’t order entrees. I had mentioned it was my friend’s Birthday, and at the end of the meal, our waiter brought her a piece of dark chocolate cake along with a Happy Birthday serenade by a very talented saxophone player. All in all, it was a delightful experience and I will be back!!
