Without a dowt an extremely lavish and outstanding place to eat, the view itself makes the dining experience 5 star. Myself and my wife both work as cooks and have a slight idea as regards the whole etiquette and how things should be done so that said the service was extremely professional and politely done . Loved their attention to service with each person having specific roles to do during the meal. Very professional. All in all the food was very well prepared and tasted very nice and was well seasoned , extremely eye catching, only one complaint as regards the main course of saffron cod , the sauce that came with it didn’t have a wow factor as regards taste but a minor complaint. For a 5 str hotel the food is priced accordingly but in truthfulness you can get easily as tasty dishes around Venice for half the price but you won’t get the view that comes with the dining experience. Overall as a huge positive thank you for the lovely Venice dining experience, I will recommend anyone to eat there once in the life and perfect for my wife’s 50th birthday

So happy we reserved a table in advance. I had the polenta and liver with onions……. Traditional Venice meal. For liver lovers only…… the best I ever had! Our waiter was so professional as was the gentleman at the front of the restaurant. The most chocolate fudge cake ever was stupendous and my husbands pasta was wonderful as well. Must go, have a Bellini but really must stay for lunch or dinner….With reservations of course!

What a spectacular restaurant! The views, food and service were amazing! Worth it.

We frequent the Serafina restaurants when we are in NYC, so this was not an unfamiliar pick, yet it was still very different from the NYC establishments. Setvers had sold knowledge of the restaurant and the history, as well as they were informative as far as guiding us through the drink menus to the food. Food was the typical, (Read : Good!) Italian wholesome and fresh foods, with great overall quality from the way it was prepared to the taste. Do NOT discount Serafina because it’s a franchise for one moment. They hold strong against the locally owned restaurants.

Lunch in an extraordinary location - overlooking the Grand Canal and Santa Maria del Salute. It doesn't get any more special. As luxurious and as exorbitant as you would expect. We might have preferred the same waiter throughout rather than the variety we experienced - but otherwise this was exceptional. Don't go if you are going to be conscious of the bill however - treat it as one of life's awesome experiences
