Restaurants near San Francisco Symphony

Very enjoyable brunch in a quiet surrounding. The menu was a bit unusual but enjoyable. I’m referring to the French toast with nectarines.

The food was perfect, the music divine. What can I say. Go there.

I have written reviews on The Hayes Street Grill in the past so you can look at those reviews and see other comments. I have been eating at this restaurant for 42 years and they are always fabulous. Whenever out of town guests are in town, I always take them to The Hayes Street Grill. When I attend concerts at The San Francisco Symphony, it is my go to restaurant to eat at prior to a concert. Many of the servers have been there since the restaurant opened in 1979. That along makes a powerful statement about how well the restaurant is run. In brief, it is one of the finest seafood restaurants in the world and they always have a great assortment of salads and appetizers. Their deserts are also excellent.

What a lovely, local gem! It was like stepping into an updated yet traditional small restaurant in Japan. Benjamin was a great server. Looking forward to returning.

My wife and I enjoy fine dining as a way to celebrate special occasions, and we had not yet found a way to celebrate our tenth anniversary. Nightbird came through in every way, with absolutely delicious and inventive food, fantastic cocktails, and perfectly paired wine. The staff were incredibly welcoming, warm and knowledgeable. We look forward to visiting again.
