Restaurants near Schulenburg Historical Museum

I have been waiting to go since it opened and was not disappointed. We made a reservation as it was for our anniversary but it was not needed at 5 pm. The brewery itself was super busy and parking was very full but the restaurant was not overly busy. We sat right down and we served right away. Our food came out fast and was delicious. The drinks we ordered were strong! I've seen complaints about portion size but I found mine to be perfect! I finished most of my meal but I left stuffed! It was nice to not feel like I paid for way more food than I needed. It's hard to find such a good quality meal within a far radius of this area so I was very impressed. The ambiance was beautiful and we left very happy, it is very clear the Shiner Brewery has hospitality managers that know what they are doing. We will definitely be back!!

I feel we are lucky to have this restaurant in Bastrop County. The food is tantalizing with wonderful options. The salad bar just keeps getting better. The service is commendable. If you haven't been here, you should!

all meals were fresh, hot and excellent, shrimp Alfredo, eggplant parmigiana and fettuccine with veggies. The pasta made in house was tender and delicate and all agreed the best. Worth the drive from Fulshear to Brenham.

We stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant on the way home from the airport. It is very good and most every time we’ve had excellent service. We will drive an hour from college Station to eat there.

Worth every penny. Gene was the pit manager and treated our group as kings. Loves bbq and enjoys talking about it with you. Food could not have been better either.
