Service was excellent. And the food, well prepared and tasty. The noice level had improved dramatically. The first time we visited we could not hear ourselves talk.

I had enjoyed the falafel before and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately it was extremely dry (it crumbled when I tried to cut it). Our order arrived within about 3 minutes of placing it and made us wonder if it had been sitting out for hours. Kale salad was good. Our server was great.

Modern and comfortable dining room and lounge with spectacular view of Bodega Bay - outdoor dining and drinks with fire pits as well but inside seating is a panoramic view of the water. Food and drinks are excellent and reasonably priced with great service. The bar area is lovely for a drink to watch the sunset. An all-around great feeling place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We went to celebrate my partners birthday. The remodel of the outdoor seating was spectacular. We sat in a corner booth, comfortable cushions and lovely warm overhead heater!! The food was spectacular and exceeded expectations. The cheese ravioli with red sauce yummy, root vegetable lasagna fabulous and the clam linguini best we have ever tasted. The gem salad was the best salad we have ever had!!! We loved very thing and the starter of knot bread was chewy and full of garlic and had amazing dipping sauce sauce. The colors, texture and delicious flavors along with fresh ingredients made the food spectacular. 91 y/o momma loved house made Italian soda and we loved the house cocktails very yummy. The perfect spot for a fabulous birthday dinner.

We went with friends for a special occasion and had a wonderful experience. First time at Bay View restaurant. Our dinners were outstanding!!! I had the coq au vin, one person ordered the cedar planked salmon and two ordered the braised short ribs. The portions are generous and the presentation is really beautiful. The oysters appetizer plate was presented beautifully too. The service was wonderful- very pleasant, attentive but not hovering. The space is lovely- fireplace, white linen cloths, a rose on each table, nice lighting. And a full bar. We were really glad we’d decided to go here for this special holiday get-together and will definitely be back. This gem needs to be supported!!! Don’t miss the gingerbread Bodega display created by the very talented chef.
