Restaurants near St. John's United Church

The menu was limited and for good reason. Whenever I see a 3-4 page menu I automatically know it's a middle-of-the-road establishment. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I can safely assume that there isn't a chef on board. The Cambridge Mill's lunch menu consists of perhaps 6 mains and the two that my friend and I had were memorable. The view of the Grand River is fantastic as are the staff and the ambience. It was a five-star experience

This is an amazing restaurant with impeccable service. We had a group with mobility issues and the gentlemen at the front end came out and helped each person into the vehicle. This took over 15 minutes. I was stunned and so grateful for this kind of personal service and attention. I didn’t get his name but I will never forget this. Beyond the call of duty for sure.

We had a wonderful experience at The Mule. The service and attentiveness was outstanding and all of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Meaghan was personable and efficient. It was our Anniversary and we were touched by the personal touches and best wishes that they all offered …even a signed Anniversary card and a glasses of Prosecco were a wonderful addition. We now understand why The Mule was strongly recommended to us. We also would invite anyone who wants good, authentic food, a wide menu of drinks and a friendly, attentive staff to head to this funky, fine and festive eatery.
