Restaurants near Stamp River Provincial Park

It was great as usual. Only thing - it’s so cold in there; however, that won’t stop me from coming as everything else is fabulous.

The salmon and scallop linguine in a white wine cream sauce was flavourful and delicious. My husband also liked his Mediterranean tomato sauce based pasta. The side salad with fresh toasted walnuts, beets, cucumber was great, too. We had a window seat with a lovely view out over the water. The waiter was efficient and unobtrusive. We returned for brunch the next day. It was a great value for $17. Both dining experiences included a live musician playing recognizable favourites softly on the piano. We will dine at the Bayside Restaurant again.

Our experience was very good. Our server Joe was friendly and attentive. I had the pasta special, it was tasty and the dish had a good amount of mussels. My wife had the beet risotto and added scallops to the dish. It was an extra $14 for 2 scallops. Maybe have 3 or 4?? We visit every year and go to Roar every time we visit. We enjoy it there.

We had dinner as a dual celebration of my sister’s birthday and a housewarming for our move to Parksville. The patio is fantastic for viewing the beach and vistas of adjacent islands and the mainland and people watching on the boardwalk. The server was great; attentive and friendly and the added touch of birthday cake was very much appreciated.
