We arrived early by 10 minutes so we had to wait to be seated as our table had not been cleared off yet, but that wasn’t an issue at all. I do feel, however, that it would be nice if there was some sort of seating/waiting area so we did not feel like we were in the way just standing around. Once we got seated, we had a wonderful waitress who gave us a rundown on the theme of the restaurant and how they recommended we approached the menu. Wonderful service the entire time, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was top notch. They never rushed us, the waitress consistently came by to check on our experience and who I assumed to be the manager of the night came by to also check in on our night. Highly recommend the dates and the crispy potatoes on the mezze menu, and the harissa trout as both were incredibly fresh and flavorful, with appropriate portions. The Phyllo Pie for dessert was also exceptional and came out crazy fast, like 2 minutes! Incredible cheesecake-like texture on the bottom with crispy layers on top and the orange sauce was to die for! Overall, 11/10 experience and I can’t wait to find another excuse to come back!

Entering the restaurant and being walked to our table was an experience. Beautiful atmosphere with well placed decor. We were sat at a table set for 4 and before I could sit down, the unnecessary plates, cups and utensils were removed in mere seconds. Very impressive. Our waiter introduced himself and gave a brief description of the menus. Throughout the night, he walked with a purpose and was keeping ours drinks filled all night. When it came time to order, I asked about the dry-aged steak and he gave me a brief and quick description about their process. I felt like I could trust him so I asked him to order the steak in his suggested cook(rare, well, well-done, etc…). The food arrived in a timely manner and there were no complaints from us. The flavors collided with grace and nearly changed our entire taste palate. 801 Chophouse set a new standard for our tastebuds! Highly recommend!

J Gilberts is our favorite Omaha Restaurant. We used to go only on special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries but the food and service is so good we are making it a more frequent stop. The food is outstanding and the servers are all polite, efficient, and friendly. Our most recent server Hanna was all of these and more. Highly recommend this fine eating establishment.

Ever since Memoir opened up earlier this year, I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered from there. From appetizers to deserts, they’ve been excellent! Last night my husband and I celebrated our anniversary by dining here. We started with the pork potstickers which were perfectly juicy and savory. For our entrees, I ordered the seared trout with a kale salad. The trout was delicious! Perfectly flaky and seasoned! Paired really well with the kale salad. My husband ordered the roasted chicken and said “this is the best chicken I’ve ever had”. He’s a man of a few words so that was definitely a statement! I tried a bite and have to agree! It has such a perfect Smokey flavor to it! Besides food, their service and ambiance was perfect! I’m really happy the Flagship group has introduced this ambiance to Omaha! They never miss!

First time at this restaurant. Food was good. Crab cakes, while very small, tasted great. Pasta was very good. String beans were undercooked. All in all worth another visit
