Fun, casual interior design and vibe with a fun, casual menu. We enjoyed our entrees - my lingcod was nicely cooked with a crispy sear and a very tasty veloute, fennel sauce with nice little potatoes. My husband enjoyed the chicken but found it spicier than he expected (no warning on the menu about heat level.) Our server, Joe, was courteous and friendly with a million dollar smile. The hotel’s retro vibe is a bit ambiguous - 60s? 70s? - but certainly a youthful atmosphere.

We were staying at the resort and had our anniversary dinner in the restaurant. We were promptly greeted, wished a happy anniversary and taken to our table. The setting was lovely. Our server, Prabhat, was very attentive, friendly and explained the menu in detail. We received a complimentary appy of salmon mousse, then ordered the stuffed onion ring, Caesar salad, halibut and brownie dessert along with a bottle of wine. Prabhat ensured our wine glasses were never empty. After dinner he brought us blankets when sitting outside around a fire table.

Best meal in Campbell River. Service was amazing.

Three of the four had the prime beef - spectacular. Nice mashed potatoes and gravy. The second best Yorkshire puddings I have had (my mother-in-law was from Yorkshire) and the beef was done to perfection. Two of our group had deserts the creme brûlée and the chocolate torte with ice cream. Best meal we've had in a restaurant in a long time. Highly recommended.
