We ate at a LOT of great **restaurants** during our most recent visit to Mexico City, but this was by far our best meal. Every course was terrific (we ordered ala carte and did not have a tasting menu), and service was spot on. We did not have any of the service issues other reviews have mentioned. Service was attentive, not pushy. And did I mention the amazing food?! Yes, it's expensive, but if you can afford a splurge, you will not go wrong with **Maximo**. And thanks to the **restaurant** for celebrating my husband's birthday with a delicious flan.
Really wonderful service. The food and drink were pretty tasty. Some dishes were better than others. The tostadas de atún were fabulous. They margarita dragon was really delicious. They were also really great with us having kids there.
We were sitting at a table in front of the kitchen. That allowed a foul odor and the kitchen door to constantly open, making the kitchen lights reflect on our faces. However, the service, food, and drinks were excellent.
