I had the Blue Cheese and Apple salad which was delicious!

We had an amazing server named L’Oréal. Her suggestions were spot on. She is a top chef and social media influencer in her own right ( not to mention serious motorcycle rider) we had one item - steak- that was way over seasoned and thus took out the true flavor of the steak but she and the manager made it right for us. Service by them was what we all were used to in the 70’s where the customer experience is #1 priority. Definitely you need to eat here

Wonderful service from Eliza . From the cocktails she recommended (smoked old fashioned and a bourbon/lemon sweeter drink) to appetizers (crab and artichoke drip and baked brie to dinner: Rib eye, by strip, Columbia River salmon and more and dessert (bread pudding and smoked peaches) we loved it. Great river views and fabulous service

Dining here was like taking a flavorful journey straight to the heart of Cuba, but what truly elevated the experience was the remarkable service provided by our server, Norberto, who clearly loves what he does. The moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with warm colors, and the irresistible smell of spices in the air. Norberto welcomed us with an infectious smile, instantly setting the tone for the evening. His enthusiasm was palpable, and his deep knowledge of Cuban cuisine made choosing our dishes feel like an adventure. We started with the barquitos de malanga. They were perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside, with a juicy, flavorful filling. For the main course, I went with Vaca frita, a slow-cooked shredded beef dish simmered in rich tomato sauce with peppers and onions. The beef was tender and bursting with flavor, and paired with black beans, rice, and sweet plantains, it was a plate full of comfort and tradition. My dining partner chose the lechón asado, a marinated roast pork with citrusy mojo sauce. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a perfect crispy edge. But Norberto’s service made the experience truly special. He was not only attentive but also passionate about each dish, explaining the history behind them with such enthusiasm that we could see he wasn’t just doing his job—he was sharing his culture. His genuine excitement for the food was contagious, and his recommendations were spot on. Norberto checked on us regularly, but never in a way that felt rushed or intrusive. He had a knack for being there exactly when we needed something.

This was a wonderful experience. My husband and I chose to spend are 44th anniversary there.
