Dublin's most famous pub, certainly in a literary sense, with its Joycean associations. Always classy and fashionable. It's the original Dublin gastropub at over 100 years old.Anybody who is familiar with Dublin pub food will be aware of Davy Byrne’s food reputation, in which seafood is the speciality. If you visit the premises at lunchtime and evening time, you will witness the huge trade which is done in fresh Seafood, Wagyu Burgers and pub classics like Fish & Chips. There is also a full range of Salads and Sandwiches to compliment these and, as often as not, you can enjoy Oysters and Guinness. The classic Gorgonzola sandwich with a glass of Burgundy as mentioned in Ulysses is available every day.Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate strollers/buggies indoors at Davy Byrnes but subject to availability, we can at our outside terraced area. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We loved everything about this place! The food was fantastic, the ambiance was wonderful and the service was great! After reading “mixed” reviews, we decided to give it a shot (based on a recommendation), and I’m glad we did!! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Can’t say enough about how good the food was! The place is comfortable and our server was great! If you’re looking to be in and out quickly, maybe not the place for you, but I can’t recommend it enough!!

We visited Boeuf and Frites in Temple Bar before heading to the theatre, and it was an absolute treat. Both of us had the fillet steak, which was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We really loved the concept—just a few dishes done exceptionally well. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, the staff are friendly and professional, and the value is fantastic. Even the dessert was spot on. A wonderful spot we’d happily return to!
