Fabulous meal....enjoy the lettuce at the filet mignon was perfect!

Our early lunch today was exceptional, surpassing even Juju's normal high standards. Having dropped our car off for service nearby we were there when the doors opened at 11:00 (accounting for some of the ratings I gave for this particular meal; e.g. very low noise level). Having done the same every few months for years we have a regular drill and lunch at Juju is always part of it. Today, even some dishes that we have enjoyed in the past showed new and even more delicious touches -- bravo! If you live in the area of northwest Durham, have business at nearby Duke Hospital, or just crave creative and delicious food, go to Juju!

The afternoon tea was delightful (albeit pricey). Among the diners it was fun to see moms and their well behaved children dressed to the nines having tea there. The three plate tower of food- savory, sweet and scones was enough for a meal- actually more than a meal. There were about 35 people at 3 PM on a Friday afternoon. The was little noise, just quiet conversation.

Because it was Christmas, the restaurant was closed and we ate upstairs in the bar. The food was wonderful: we had shrimp quesadillas, prime rib, crudités platter, and potstickers appetizers. The server was friendly and helpful. Lovely space!
