                                          Le Canard is my favorite restaurant in the Catskills area. Although we were spending our time a half hour away, we still took the trip to our favorite restaurant. The food is exceptional and so is the service. I highly recommend this restaurant!

                                          Classic French restaurant with all your favorites. Homemade chicken liver pate was excellent, as was duck à la orange. Hard to choose because everything sounded delicious. List of desserts was extensive. Nice wine and cocktail menu and pours were generous. We particularly enjoyed our waitress who had worked at the restaurant for 25 years. Parking can be challenging since there is no dedicated lot. Plan ahead.

                                          The food was good, but not excellent. Our server abandoned us after apps, and we were waited on by the bus-girl for the rest of the meal. I had reserved the table as a birthday celebration for my partner, but the restaurant made no mention of birthday and the staff never said thank you or good night on our way out. Expensive and would not recommend.

                                          I had the most wonderful birthday experience. The owner and staff were super friendly and while was by myself made my birthday extra special. The food is absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

                                          Like a trip to Paris…. This is a real classic French restaurant! The food is delicious, the ambience, old school in the best way and the service was very good. Also, the price is fair which is hard to come by in this time of high prices.

                                          This place did not disappoint even a little. Every measure from phenomenal food preparation, ambiance and excellent friendly and professional service. This meal really exceeded our expectations and we will 100% return. One of our best meals ever.

                                          We had the goat cheese and potato cake salad, mussels and French onion soup. Vanilla crème brûlée for dessert. All were exceptional. Love the decor and subtle lighting. Music was a bit loud and annoying at times but as more people came in the volume was reduced. We'd definitely eat here again.
