We've been going to Afghan kitchen for years now. We always bring our friends to see, eat and experience the absolute most amazing food you'll ever have, huge portions (you always leave with so much food to take home for the next day), they are a family based business. Honestly, if we could give them more stars we would. In a nut shell, this is the place you definitely want to go and try out if you haven't yet!

We got there before 8am and saw an amazing sunrise and the panoramic view of the sea of clouds. The food was excellent but the view was beyond our expectations and forgottable.

Excellent food and fantastic service from Devon. We enjoyed our tenderloins with delicious sides, Brussels sprouts with pistachios and mortadella and the Brie whipped mashed potatoes. This was our 5th time at an Atlas restaurant and the quality and consistency is always there.

The fish entree was truly remarkable. The drinks and dessert were also impressive. What didn't belong in this mix were the zucchini fritters, which were tiny rubbery discs with bland sauces. Otherwise perhaps our best meal during our stay in Toronto.

The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

My 2 best friends and I were there to celebrate our Christmas luncheon early. Our server was Jennifer B., and she was absolutely wonderful. We never once felt rushed and Jennifer helped us with our selections. The food was absolutely delicious (2 pad Thai’s and 1 Cobb salad). We sat in the heated patio area which was warmer than inside. The atmosphere was perfect for our special occasion.

So I know everyone talks about the steaks there… but if you leave without having the Mud Pie- you missed out. We had the Chateaubriand- which was good but I think next time we will have the Ribeye as recommended. But the Mud Pie definitely is what stood out.

This place is the amazing best kept secret tucked into the wee town of Musselman’s lake- it’s quiet , attentive service is what makes it so enjoyable. Plenty of RICH folk driving crazy expensive cars tells you that it’s a nice little secret spot for the elite!! Shhhhh don’t tell too many others about it …keep it remote for the rest of us!! Definetly 17 thumbs up! And the wait staff are not only great looking but very polite and on point- obviously well trained! We return every year for our anniversary! Keep on keeping on guys- you’re the best!!

Our Friday night experience, went to watch the Wings and Leaf's game. It was a good time as always. Our server Liv was awesome and tried 2 new menu items. First the fries supreme were good and the Sweet heat chicken sandwich was excellent just the right amount of heat, a nice size piece of fried chicken and the toppings. Would definitely order again. Always a good night out at John Max's on Dougall.

A Thursday night was a good time. Steady and not packed. Food was good but not overwhelmingly delicious. We had the squid which was the best dish of the night. The curry linguine was good although it had too many sprouts. The Thai noodle dish was also good but fairly spicy. We will go again and try other food.

The Old Surrey Restaurant is Surrey’s best well- kept secret. Built in 1918, it was the residence of Lou Jack and his household until it was converted into a restaurant in 1974.

The interior has a crisp, clean aesthetic that is enhanced by hardwood floors and the enlarged photos of historic Surrey that adorn the walls. There are five distinct dining areas on the top floor (including a cozy library) and a banquet facility downstairs. The cuisine is French with a splash of West Coast flare. A treat for new and seasoned guests alike are the signature dishes that are prepared and flambeed tableside.

The restaurant has been family-owned and operated since 1974 and in 1984 the restaurant has entered into a partnership with the family farm in Ryder Lake overlooking Chilliwack from the nearby mountains. The Old Surrey is well known for its free-range lamb and veal allowing customers to enjoy fresh organic ingredients.

Wow! We just moved to the Lindsay area and some friends had recommended the restaurant! They said it was a very nice restaurant and boy were they right. We were greeted by a nice young lady and she sat us at great table and our server was so nice and attentive. The food was outstanding, I had a Hawaiian pizza with pulled pork on it, sooooo good and my husband had a chicken sandwich which he can’t stop talking about! Their cocktail menu had some nice drinks on it, I had the berry sangria, I felt like I was back in Spain. We will definitely be repeat customers, that’s for sure.

The whole experience was great, food and service were fantastic. I got the seafood medley pasta and the other person got the 12oz charred steak. The portions were very generous and lots of seafood in my dish. Our server was very attentive and funny. We arrived early for our reservation and got a table right away. We were seated in the bar which was small and more casual. The only thing to make the experience better would be more tasteful Christmas music instead of sounding like you’re in a Walmart shopping. Maybe some more classic or instrumental would set the atmosphere better in this nice restaurant.

Why we land at Halifax instead of Moncton? Yes we are crazy of the Scotian Chowder of Chef Renée at The CANTEEN. All the menu items worth the 2 hours of road extra we have to do. Yes since our first visit at The CANTEEN, we fall in love with all the team of Chef Renée and her husband. You go to Halifax? Great! go to the port, take the ferry and few minutes later you will fall in love you too with this place. DON'T FORGET TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE, It's a small place. LAST ADVICE: The Carrot Cake is awesome x3 . We bring 4 to our Moncton hotel for our late night snack. Yes we are crazy.

Our whole dining experience this evening was top notch. Jaida, our server, was engaging, attentive and the service was spot on. Our bartender made a perfect Pisco Sour. Good selection of wines. The meal was fantastic: heirloom carrots with zhug and almonds, frites with an amazing garlic aioli, grilled bok choy caesar salad and a filet mignon to die for. Grilled perfectly, as was the halibut with navy beans. Too full for dessert, but artisanal chocolates were brought out with a sparkler for my husband’s birthday. We have consistently had fabulous meals at The Common Stove and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Soon recognized as Calgarys premiere casual steakhouse, the CattleBaron offers our guests the finest quality Alberta beef, carefully selected wines, and world famous western hospitality and service. Using the freshest ingredients and homemade recipes passed on for all to enjoy.

We are a locally-owned and family-run modern day pub + diner, where we want you to feel comfortable and relaxed. We boast an extensive beer and craft cocktail menu, our food menu draws from down-home comfort food classics, and everything is prepared fresh in-house… just like home-made. studebaker is open for lunch, dinner, and drinks daily, with happy hour specials from 2-5pm and 9pm till close EVERY DAY. We look forward to welcoming you.
