This was our first dining experience at Buca Yorkville. We have dined many times at the King Street location. We were blown away by the exceptional food, wine, and most importantly, the service. Our server Emily was amazing. So friendly and so professional. The sommelier gave an amazing recommendation for wine, which was outstanding. Buca never disappoints. So glad to have finally had the opportunity to dine at the Yorkville location.

The food was outstanding and it well founded trust to take the tasting menu. Equally important the service was friendly and highly professional in the tradition of formal dining. My partner and I were made to feel comfortable and welcomed. Rarely does culinary brilliance converge with outstanding service. No wonder seating choice was limited on a Tuesday evening more than a week in advance.

This was our 2nd visit to Chiado but first since the pandemic started. They appear to have expanded. We found the back room quiet but we were also dining early so there were few other guests till midway through the meal. We preferred the more compact space of the front area. Food was very good though our main course could have been a bit hotter. (We all had the same). The meal was quite expensive for 3 people (nearly $400 without tip) with no alcohol consumed though we did have 3 courses each and the main course was probably the most expensive on the menu. Staff were courteous and attentive. The birthday candle on the cheesecake for our son was a nice touch.

There is not one element of a fine dining experience that is missed. From the moment our transportation arrived at the front entrance to the moment that we left, it was perfection. Is there another restaurant out there that provides the attention to detail that Eden does in Banff or Calgary? I haven't come across it yet. We had the 8 course Grand Degustation menu, creative, well chosen and perfectly balanced to ensure that the diner has the right amount of food and thoughtfully paced. This will be our go to fine dining escape when we are in Banff going forward. Bravo!

The tasting menu experience was wonderful--we had one vegan at the table, and she was blown away by the variety and creativity of the dishes. The George is extremely accommodating to dietary preferences to a level I hadn't seen before. The whole experience was so special. We had 7 dishes, and that was the perfect amount!

My brother, daughter and I ate one last meal at Hearth before its move from Melrose to the Remai. I love the ambience on Melrose and hope the Remai will be as cozy and welcoming. The food and service were as good as always. We always order the mushrooms and the fish fry as appetizers and then choose an entree. My daughter and I had the current trout entree, which was on a bed of grains with pickled green beans and almond crema, and my brother had a pasta. The pickled beans complemented the trout extremely well.

Traveling thru Calgary on our way home from vacation and found this restaurant highly rated online. Our family (two children 10 yo and 13 yo and two adults) had a great meal and received amazing service. Pizza was excellent and beer selection was brilliant. I've lived in Toronto since 1965 and this is the first time I became aware of this restaurant. A very pleasant surprise. From the hostess to the waitress , busboy, ..... the service was excellent. The ambiance is warm, cosy yet elegant and classy. Noise level almost non-existent. The food was very good but not perfect. I had the mixed fish / shell fish. The scallop was done to perfection. The rest of the fish were scrumptious as well. But the vegetables underlaid beneath the fishes were unappealing in appearance and did not give the best "in-mouth experience". The sauce was enjoyable. It was a delightful experience overall.

It was an amazing experience for my first time attending your restaurant. The servers were fabulous, the good presentation was superb, and the food tasted lovely. I have never tasted sake that was so good. It was light and almost fruity on my palette, served at the right temperature. The birthday girl got an amazing dessert of black sesame seed ice cream with a lit candle. That was special. My only complaint would be the prices were a little steep. But overall, I really enjoyed my dinner. Well done Yuwa!
