We've been to maybe 20 afternoon teas all around London. This is still the best one, value for money. The reason I say that is that Parlour doesn't serve the boring finger sandwiches. Everything there is seasonal and handcrafted. We've been twice around Christmas, and this was our first time in the summer, so the menu was Italian-inspired. Also, I'd like to highlight the amazing service we've received from Avalyn. Parlour always had the highest standards.

About the restaurant
Camino was born with the opening of King’s Cross in 2007. Capturing the real essence of Spain was always the aim, and with the addition of Bar Rioja opening opposite ( this was previously Bar Pepito, London’s very first sherry bar) we came a King’s Cross institution.

Our lively bar and restaurant sprawls around a hidden courtyard, coming alive in the Summer, full of people enjoying a frosted mug of Spanish cerveza, a glass of sangria or a Rioja Glass from Bar Rioja. With outdoor heaters and plenty of seating, it’s often busy on even the coldest of evenings.

We’re open everyday for lunch, dinner and everything in between. Join us for our Spanish breakfast during the week, or our popular Happy Hour at the weekend. The bar at Camino is always buzzing, with DJs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays playing the best Latin, house and party sounds until late. Always free entry!

We went as a pretty large group and also had to make changes to the original reservation just a day before the event. Cinnamon Bazaar was very accomodative of the changes, which is very appreciative. The service was also great, with the waiter providing a lot of recommendations, helped in making changes to our order, gave us the option of ordering items which were outside of the à la carte menu, which were all very helpful. The food itself was okay to be honest. Some of the items were a bit too salty, which we communicated directly. The feedback was taken positively. The toilets are in a different floor, and is you do not have a step free access. Overall a positive experience due to the service quality.

Another great visit. A wonderful way to spend Saturday afternoon catching up with friends sitting outside by the river. Food is still good quality although it felt like some of the portion sizes had got smaller and some of the old favourites were missing from the menu. That said, it didn't detract from the experience. This is one of my favourite restaurants and having just recently reopened following a refurb, I am so pleased to see that the ladies toilets have been given a much needed make over and greater space. The restaurant itself has been smartened up too. Will I be back - of course !

Our waiter Sayed was professional, efficient and personable. There were 8 of us and he did 8 separate bills for us which was incredibly helpful. Without his help we may have been late for our comedy show. The food was great and I really like the newer dish (Mushroom Bourguignon). I’ve had it before and it’s very different and delicious!

The place is truly tiny and when we arrived the music was loud and the playlist not the best as background for a nice evening with friends. The staff were attentive and when we asked to out the volume down, they did. The food was delicious! All was very fresh and tasty. Not a broad Peruvia experience but the ceciche is very good. The pisco sour is nice but not the best I e had. I'd happily go back though, and hopefully therell be good weather to sit outside and enjoy a more comfortable ambience.

It was an amazing experience from start to finish! Our server Sean was helpful with menu suggestions and even sent us an appetizer that we had been teetering on ordering, but ultimately chose not to. The sommelier Ishvan (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was also amazing as we brought our own bottle for BYOW Mondays. We are from Boston and work in a steakhouse and we were very impressed by the whole experience! The service and food were top notch and we will certainly be back!

Our entire experience, from arrival to departure, was one of the most enjoyable dinners we've had the pleasure, and I mean, pleasure, to have eaten. Perfectly cooked beef, unbeatable trimmings and a gravy that may possibly be the world's leading gravy. All of this coupled with a server,Rosanna, who lit up the room, fantastic.

About the restaurant
Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar, The Lowback. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Fusing their love for plant-based food with their Caribbean roots, they identified a niche gap in the market for authentic, Modern Caribbean Vegan Cuisine. With five-star reviews across the board from both customers and food critics alike, the siblings have now opened their first ever flagship restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Angel, Islington.

About the restaurant

British meals don’t get more classic than fish and chips. For young and old alike, the crunch of batter encasing tender fish together with a chunky chip dipped in ketchup is the ultimate heartwarming nod to comfort and nostalgia. Trust in Tom Kerridge to take the UK’s favourite dish to new heights at his eponymous restaurant.

On the menu created by one of the UK’s best-loved chefs, you’ll find Britain’s finest, freshest seafood, all ethically caught and hand-selected by local fishmongers. From the daily catch to hand-dived scallops and native lobster, there’s a variety of grilled and deep-fried options – with the chef’s signature crisp and gluten-free batter – that will have you salivating.

Desserts are equally classic, and reminiscent of seaside holidays.
